JCI Iceland: Be the Compass

Leadership conference in the heart of Reykjavík: 5 September 2026, Reykjavík, Iceland.

“Be the Compass” is a full-day leadership conference hosted by JCI Iceland on 5 September at Grand Hotel Reykjavík.

Great leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about knowing your direction, inspiring others, and creating positive impact in the world around you.

Be the Compass is a full-day leadership conference hosted by JCI Iceland, designed for people who want to grow as leaders, strengthen their confidence, and become active, responsible citizens in their communities. Taking place on 5 September at Grand Hotel Reykjavík, Iceland, the conference brings together ambitious individuals for a day of learning, inspiration, and practical tools. Whether you are leading a team, building a project, growing your career, or simply want to make a greater difference, this event will help you develop the mindset and skills needed to lead with purpose.

The conference will be led by Viktor Ómarsson, 2023 JCI World President. During his presidential year, Viktor’s theme was “Guided by Purpose”, a message that connects strongly with the heart of this conference. At Be the Compass, participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own purpose, strengthen their leadership direction, and explore how they can create meaningful impact in their communities.

Throughout the day, participants will gain valuable tools to become stronger leaders, better communicators, and more engaged members of society. Attendees will leave with new perspectives, renewed motivation, and a clearer sense of direction. Ready to lead with purpose in their teams, careers, and communities.

Join us on 5 September in Reykjavík for a day dedicated to purposeful leadership.
